This animation will cue you on how to breath up and prepare for your breath holds using my methods. My students begged me for years to make this. I finally listened.

"I’m taking the Breath Hold challenge with Ted Harty. The course is online through a Facebook group and has been fantastic. He is extremely knowledgeable about free diving and free diving safety. No BS, no attitude, no soapbox and no technical problems… just friendly, fun and informative. I’m excited to get In the water, continue to refine my technique and see how my free diving photography improves when I have even more time to get the shot!"
"Just wanted to say thanks for hosting this free class. I learned a lot and actually was able to double my breath hold time. Coming into the class I was doubtful, and figured I could at least add 20-30 seconds onto my average, but didnt think it would actually double.
On day 1 you asked us to time ourselves before you taught anything, and I did a 1:40. After day 3, and learning your breath up techniques I did a 3:19! That was my first time using what i learned in your class. If the dive reflex is real, and practice makes you better, I hope to get that up to 4 minutes in the near future.
Thanks again Ted Harty!"

Take in more fuel and obviously you will increase your time.

Clearly, I can't predict with certainty how much of an increase you will have. Here is what I've seen after working with thousands of students since 2008.
If your breath-hold is between 30 and 90 seconds, many will double or triple their breath hold.
If your breath-hold is between a minute 30 seconds, and 3 minutes many will add 60-90 seconds to their breath-hold.
If your breath-hold is between 3 and 4 minutes, many will add a minute to their breath-hold.
If your breath-hold is between 4- 5 minutes, many will add between 30-60 seconds to their breath-hold.
If your breath-hold is over 5 minutes, many will add 15-30 seconds to their breath-hold.
If your breath-hold is over 6 minutes, maybe I'll hire you to train my students ;)
The free version of the challenge will be run via a Private Facebook Group. Once you register (by clicking red button below) you can upgrade to the VIP Backstage Pass. If you upgrade, all the training will be done via Zoom. After each session VIP members have the ability to ask me questions via zoom.
No, of course not! While I have helped hundreds of people double their breath-hold, the percent of improvement is related to your current breath-hold.
If your longest breath-hold is 45 seconds, I will likely be able to double or even triple that. If you have a 5-minute breath-hold, I clearly can not double that to 10 minutes.
I'll be going live in the private FB Group from May 31st -June 4th at 8:00 PM EST.
If you upgrade to the VIP Backstage pass, you can access the recordings whenever is convenient for your schedule. Once you register for the free challenge (by clicking the red button below) you will have an option to upgrade.
By upgrading to the VIP Backstage Pass get access to a private zoom room (VIPs only) where I will spend up to an hour answering members' questions after the live session each day.
